An Interview with Diane

What made you decide to become a transformation coach for women over 50?

I never was conscious of my age or too concerned about it until I was about to turn forty.  Clothes started fitting differently and everywhere I looked women appeared to be younger.  Just before my birthday I had a dream that my teeth were going to fall out and I would wake up and find them on my pillow.  Fortunately that didn’t happen, but it was a strange wake-up call.

When I turned fifty my hormones took me on an emotional and physical roller coaster ride.  I developed a new body part, back fat, and it wasn’t pretty.  My sons were in their teenage years and I felt I was no longer the young cool mom I had always wanted to be. In addition I wasn’t sure who I was anymore. I was losing my self- confidence.

I also started noticing that ads and commercials featured either young skinny women or older silver haired women whose health challenges were changed over night thanks to the newest pharmaceutical remedy.

I was neither of these women. But then who was I?  Was I irrelevant? No way! I got angry and decided it was up to me to show myself and the world that life isn’t over at 50.

I took up Tae Kwan Do and earned my black belt.  I trained for and ran a marathon.  I went back to school.  I changed my approach to eating and the back fat started to disappear. I got my self-confidence back.

Mid-life is a time of transition both physically and emotionally. But, it doesn’t mean you have to fade away. It can also be a time of creative reinvention.

My desire is to empower other women to live vibrantly as they move into the second phase of life.

What exactly is your promise?

I know that you want to live a fabulous life.

I know that you used to dream, dance and laugh out loud. I also know that sometimes when you look into the mirror you don’t recognize yourself.  You wonder if the best of life has already happened.  I am here to show you that the best is yet to come. Trust me, if I can do it, so can you.

Who are your clients exactly?

My clients are smart motivated lady boomers who are ready for a midlife makeover.

They are used to putting the needs of family or career first and without realizing it may have put them selves on the backburner.  Now faced with an empty nest and wondering what their future will hold, they feel ready want to move forward but aren’t sure how.

What type of personality do you work best with?

I enjoy working with smart motivated women who are eager to learn and ready to make changes.

They are aware that habits that worked for them 10 or 20 years ago may not anymore.  They appreciate the value of investing in them selves and know that the benefits will not only affect them but all those they love.

For what type of woman are your programs not going to work?

My programs won’t work for women who do not want to take responsibility for their own health and wellbeing, who do not want to put some awareness and effort into their transformation, who are looking for a quick fix (which by the way does not exist), and who like to complain but make no changes.

If you’re someone who is open to possibility, is willing to try new things, and ready to take action, then chances are we’ll work beautifully together.

What exactly is your 7 Step Signature Program and what does it include?

Your personal transformation starts with the recognition that you are a totally unique individual with your own vision of what living a fabulous life means.

Each step of my program allows you to create the life you desire.  It’s fun and doable…almost like magic.

It is about rediscovering the best of your self and reinventing the rest.
